Cabin in the Woods, Broken Bow Elopement

Have you ever dreamt of eloping in a cabin in the woods?

Zues & Lauren never did. The OG plan was to get married in a few years, but when the pandemic hit, they decided that if the world is going to fall apart, they want to be husband & wife. This decision then led to planning their elopement in 2 months! With a celestial theme in mind, Zues & Lauren chose to elope in a cabin in the woods out at Broken Bow (near Beavers Bend State Park).

These two met in high school when Lauren moved to a new school. As soon as she saw him, she was starstruck. “Tall, dark, handsome, check!” (direct quote from Lauren) He was quiet and mysterious, and she was so intrigued by him, but sadly, he had a girlfriend. So, for a year, Lauren admired from afar, until one day, Zues was single, and Lauren grew the confidence to send him a message. That message led to Zues offering to teach Lauren Spanish, which then turned into Zues crawling into Lauren’s window in the middle of the night and staying up until 5am just talking. To this day, Lauren still does not know Spanish. But what’s important is that it brought them here, to the day they tied the knot and created the finale of their 80’s rom-com story. Now, enjoy the magic from their wonderful, cabin in the woods wedding.
