Gathering Place Engagement Session

For Jason & Megan’s engagement session, we found where the wildflowers grow.

On the weekend of Jason & Megan’s 8 year anniversary, we arrived for an early morning session at The Gathering Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Although the park itself was closed, we found so much beauty on the outskirts. Wildflowers bloomed everywhere you looked, and there was no lack in nature.

Since Jason & Megan will be getting married at the Gathering Place, they thought it would be fitting to also have their engagement photos there. As much as I adore the location we took their photos, I have much more love for who they are as people. Jason & Megan met working at Elote while Jason was a luchador and Megan was a bartender. (So cool, right?) 8 years later, and they both find so much enjoyment in nature, yoga, and walks together. What was so sweet about getting to know them is that it was easyyyy. Before booking, our first phone call was over an hour long & they were so open to chat. The conversation flowed effortlessly, which is why the engagement session went the same way. Like I mentioned above, the Gathering Place wasn’t open at 7am in the morning. Despite that, we made the most out of it, and I mean the most! I love a good challenge & will find something pretty out of anything, whether that be the side of the road, a tunnel, or a sidewalk. What mattered most is the love Jason & Megan share & that it is evident in their gallery and interactions.

Jordan’s sweet personality and thorough preparation makes it so easy to feel at ease and natural during the session. I can’t say enough good things about her. 10 out of 10!
