These are my most frequently asked questions. Take a minute to read them over, and if you have any more, please reach out. I’m an open book!


What are your prices?

Wedding collections are COMPLETELY customizable.

There are no cookie cutter packages, and due to the custom nature of pricing, it’s tough to give you a number.

We’ll get to talking and you’ll tell me what you want: Full coverage. Engagement session. Bridals. Day After Session. Album. Second Photographer. USB Drive. Local, stateside, or international. All of these factor into the price. I’m easy to talk to and will make sure you’re taken care of with a package that meets your needs and photography expectations.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH PHOTOGRAPHY?

Every package will include Jordan Taylor as your photographer (with an option to add on a second photographer). 600-1000 professionally edited images. Online gallery with a download code. High-resolution images. Print release. Access to my print shop.

 

How far in advance should we book our wedding?

I am currently booking a year in advance, however dates do fill up quick!

If your date is set, inquire as soon as possible to get your event date secured (even if it’s further than a year out!).


Will you help in the planning process?

UHM yes! Truly, I love helping with wedding planning! I’ve been to a heck ton of weddings (and am married myself), so I know the industry pretty darn well!

I’ve created a Wedding Guide just for this purpose. When you book, you’ll receive the physical magazine!

 

ARE THERE SEASONS THAT ARE MORE IN DEMAND THAN OTHERS?

Absolutely! April-November is high season for weddings. I’m usually booked every single Saturday during this busy time.

If your wedding lands on one of those months, please inquire ASAP to see if I am available your date.

HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

I pride myself on how quickly I can deliver your photos! The full wedding gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks, but you’ll receive plenty of sneak peaks (because c’mon, who can wait the full month?)!

 

how much coverage do I need?

Man oh man. Wedding day coverage depends on your needs!

For simple coverage of only the ceremony and reception, I suggest at least 4-6 hours.

For all-inclusive coverage of your wedding day: the time you arrive to the moment you depart, plan on full day of coverage. Full coverage can range anywhere between 8-12 hours, and it is my most common option.

DO WE GET ALL OF OUR PHOTOS?

Every single photo counts, right? So YES, you will receive all of your photos!

The only photos I do not deliver is mid-blinking, blurry, or unflattering photos that I know you won’t have any desire to have. My average delivery is 600-1,000 photos. but I will never put a cap on how many. If it's a good photo with a good moment, you will receive it.

 

when should we have our engagements taken?

Engagement sessions typically take place whenever the heck you want. It’s never too early or too late (well maybe not the month before the wedding). My turnaround time for engagements is 2-4 weeks, so it's best to schedule your engagements sooner rather than later. 

Will you give me the Raw, unedited images?

No. I don’t want to take the magic out of it. The post-processing is part of my brand & product, so if I were to give you the RAW images, I would be cutting you short.

 

What should we wear for our engagements?

No need to worry! I have a What to Wear Guide just for you!

I’ll send it over as we take steps towards your session.

DO WE GET AN ONLINE GALLERY OF THE PHOTOS? DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?

Every wedding collection comes with an Online Gallery of the high-res images and an easy way to order prints.

As for albums, I do collaborate with an album company if you would like to purchase one.

 

What if we need to cancel/reschedule our shoot or wedding?

If you’ve already put a retainer down on a date and then have to move/cancel it, the retainer is legally non-refundable, and a new retainer will have to be made in order to hold your new date.

What if there’s

bad weather?

I always encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it’s beautiful and unique in photos. If it is harsh enough that it would make for a lousy time at our shoot, and I can reschedule, then we totally will!

 

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Heck YES, let’s do this thang! To lock in your wedding date, half of your balance will be put down as a retainer. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding. I send a proposal via online with a CRM contract and invoice program called Honeybook. Payment plans are available as well.
