Whimsical Outdoor Wedding at The Hidden Porch

In a magical setting under fairy lights, a forest of green, and perfect Oklahoma weather, this spring wedding at The Hidden Porch is full of whimsy.

Bryan & Jessica are the life of the party & you can’t tell me otherwise. After photographing Jess’ brother’s wedding in 2019, Bryan & Jessica booked with me after seeing how easy I made the process of planning & documenting the day. And lemme tell ya, stress-free was exactly what they were looking for. As they’ve told me themselves – they don’t like getting their photos taken at all, but after being in front of my camera for engagements, they realized how fun & easy it can actually be. Hiring a photographer with a personable personality & a style you love is important to having a happy experience. It will absolutely change your views on being in front of the camera. Although it may not always be your favorite thing – at least you won’t hate it, right? 🙂

With the engagement session happening only a month before the wedding, it was awesome getting to see each other so soon. I arrived at The Hidden Porch in Catoosa & walked into a room of stunning bridesmaids & a gorgeous bride ready to hug me immediately. Instantly, it was the perfect environment for great candid moments throughout the day. With a family willing to help setup & create an effortless day for Bryan & Jess, they were also there to throw and be a part of a kickass party. Which yes, I can attest that did happen. There’s nothing like a party with booze after a year-long pandemic of social distancing & staying at home. Crazy dancing, many smiles, and lots of good memories. This is a wedding for the books.
