It all goes back to my very first visit in February 2019 when Laura invited me to stay at her home for the business workshop we were attending. Although it was a short trip, Laura and I formed such a strong bond, and I was already brainstorming the next trip out so that my husband and I could both meet Ray, who was on tour during the first trip. Not to mention, but there was also a GIANT snow storm the one week I visited Washington for the first time. The Pike’s Place Market was mostly closed – many shops and restaraunts closed early – the roads out to the Olympic Peninsula were too dangerous – so this time around – we wanted nice weather and access to the whole Seattle/Washington experience.
WELL – the week was amazing. We arrived in Seattle – explored the city on a sunny day, then made our way out to Poulsbo, where Ray & Laura’s cute little home is. The next day was one for the books with a whole adventure across the Olympic Peninsula – stopping at Port Angeles for takeout with a view, Lake Crescent for piercing blue waters, Cape Flattery for a foggy clifftop outlook, and finally, for the sunset on Ruby beach to have Ray & Laura’s anniversary session. My husband & I love these two, and we have a dream of moving to the PNW someday. The views are nothing short of beautiful, and everywhere you look, you’re surrounded by amazing landscapes. It is truly a dream.
Thank you, Ray & Laura, for your hospitality and friendship. You both mean so much to us!
To finish off the most exciting day, we all couldn’t help but die laughing after Ray & Laura stood up. Final view to end the night.
